Otters Holt is a two bedroom apartment that offers stylish interiors within a stunning medieval home that dates back to the mid-1400’s. This wonderful holiday property offers all the comforts of home with a huge amount of charm and character (including low beams). Add a large dose of country chic to that and you have a captivating retreat for guests looking to relax and enjoy this wonderful part of Somerset.

OUR SERVICES
On arrival you will find freshly picked bunches of flowers from the owner's garden and a welcome pack *Breakfast Hamper comprising of a freshly baked loaf of bread, eggs, homemade jam, homemade scones, organic apple juice - pressed from the owner’s own apple trees, butter, a pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Top-up supplies and freshly grown vegetables from the garden are also available on request. Gluten, dairy free or vegan diets are also catered for, just let us know in advance.

THINGS TO DO
There are loads of things to do, all within easy reach….
A short walk across the fields will bring you to the popular village pub, The Martlet, open most days with good food, an outdoor garden and dog friendly too. The White Post Café, also less than a mile away, is another popular place with the locals serving barista coffee, cakes and light lunches. The White Post also has a well-stocked nursery and a couple of interesting little shops to have a wander around whilst you are there.
Chipley Escapes is situated on the outskirts of Exmoor National Park and the AONB's of the Quantocks and the Blackdown Hills, so there are plenty of opportunities for exploring, riding, hiking and cycling. There are two cycling routes within half a mile, with many more nearby. For those walking the Southwest Coast Path, arrangements can be made to drop off and pick up. Otters Holt offers secure storage in the stairwell for your bicycles complete with hanging hooks for your helmets and wet weather gear.
In addition, the coasts of North Devon and Somerset, the Jurassic coast of Dorset and the South Devon seaside resorts are all under an hour’s drive. There is a guest folder plus guidebooks for you with information on activities, local dog walks, suggested excursions and restaurants.
